What motivates people to be a coach? The video below outlines a few of the valuable reasons we need to ensure we respect and value our coaches across codes around the country.

Coaching is often a thankless task, but at the same time it can be incredibly fulfilling. At the end of the day, the vast majority of coaches are there because they want to make a difference to the quality of a young person’s life. What could be more noble…

Whether you’re a player, a parent, an administrator or a sports volunteer, it’s easy to forget about the sacrifices coaches make. Many coaches commit themselves to season after season of hard graft, all for the players. They are the first one to training and the last to leave. They plan and prepare sessions, ensure equipment is managed, support through ups and downs, and are there for their players through thick and thin.

To all you coaches out there, whatever the level you are coaching at, thank you. Take a look at this video and give your self a pat on the back
